I recently enjoyed a stay at the Stadthotel am Romerturm, a convenient spot near the railway station-ideal for travelers like us. The hotel has a modern, minimalist feel, which I found refreshing. During my visit, I was particularly drawn to the peaceful environment, making it a great retreat after a long day exploring Cologne. What truly stood out were the spa services. After a thrilling day hitting nearby trails on my mountain bike, a visit to the spa was just what I needed to unwind. The shared lounge also provided a comfortable space to relax with my family, while the sun terrace was perfect for soaking up some rays with a cup of coffee. While the reception staff were attentive, I sensed that a more inclusive approach would elevate the experience further. Anything from a business meeting to leisure pursuits made for a remarkable stay. If you're looking for both relaxation and a base to explore the city, this hotel hits the mark.
